The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the global leader in understanding the relationship between body movement and the golf swing. For over two decades, TPI has built the largest technical database, gathering insights from top Tour professionals and everyday golfers alike. Using advanced technologies like 3D motion capture, force and pressure analysis, and launch monitor data, TPI has uncovered how an optimized body leads to an efficient, powerful golf swing. On the flip side, they’ve identified how physical limitations can hinder performance and increase injury risk. This key discovery, known as The Body-Swing Connection, is the foundation of TPI’s certification courses and educational programs.

To improve swing efficiency, golfers need a comprehensive assessment. The TPI movement screen evaluates key areas such as swing mechanics, biomechanics, physical fitness, movement patterns, and injury history. The results highlight in the golf swing analysis how the body’s physical limitations may affect the golf swing. With this information, a customized improvement plan is developed, which may include fitness training, physical therapy, swing coaching, nutrition, or mental strategy—tailored to each golfer’s unique needs.
